Steps you can take to promote sound drug policy include:

  1. Visiting your Representative at either their state or local office
  2. Phoning your legislator
  3. Speaking to organizations in your community about this legislation
  4. Submitting a Letter to the Editor or an Opinion Editorial to your local media outlet
  5. Becoming a member of S.O.S.
Open Legislation:
HB 4849 seeks to prohibit the sale and possession of Salvia Divinorum or Argyreia Nervosa and would also make them schedule I drugs.
SB 570 adds Salvia to the list of schedule I drugs.
SB 616 amends the current “medical” marijuana program to conform to public health codes to dispense “medical” marijuana by a licensed pharmacist.
SB 617 establishes sentencing guidelines for violation to initiated “medical” marijuana act.
SB 618 regulates “medical” marijuana as a schedule II controlled substance, requires dispensing by a pharmacist and requires the department to license marijuana growing facilities.
SB 794 creates a sobriety court interlock pilot project.
HR 62 a resolution to memorialize the United States Congress to repeal the federal Controlled Substances Act and allow all scheduled drugs to be regulated at the state level.
